Nat Bartsch's Lullabies

Wednesday 30 June, 11:00am
Theatre 2, General Admission

In 2018, ABC Classic pianist/composer Nat Bartsch created a suite of lullabies called Forever, and No Time At All.

Influenced by music therapy, these meditative piano pieces are designed to help babies and children fall asleep, but also be meaningfully enjoyable for adults, who have to hear the music just as often. Her lullabies have had a wide ranging impact, streamed millions of times and played across the lifespan from the birthing suite to the final hours of life. A jazz re-interpretation of the album, Forever More, was nominated for an ARIA in 2020.

WGAC has specially programmed this little show for parents and babies/young toddlers. The show offers flexible seating, cushions or bean bag if you prefer and a nice relaxed vibe.

Bring your baby along to hear Nat's beautifully soothing music - who knows, they might even fall asleep!

This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body.
