are invited to join Baw Baw Shire Council and Women In Gippsland
to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Celebrate with
a night of networking and fun in the Arts Centre forecourt before heading
into the theatre to hear from our keynote speaker, Julia Baird.
Julia
Baird is a journalist, broadcaster, and author of the multi-award-winning
international bestseller Phosphorescence: A Memoir of Finding Joy When
Your World Goes Dark.
Her 2023 release Bright Shining: How
Grace Changes Everything’ explores the human quality of grace
and how we recognise it, nurture ourselves and express it, even in the
darkest of times. Julia will be supported by an inspiring local panel who
will share their own experiences.
This special event will begin in
the West Gippsland Arts Centre Forecourt at 5pm, with music, market
stalls, food trucks and entertainment before moving into the theatre for
the main event at 7.30pm.

intermission.
