Visual Arts Workshop
Expressions Festival

Under the guidance of
facilitators Jo Draisma and Lexi Turner, workshop
participants will help to design and create a standing and/or hanging
installation in the foyer of the West Gippsland Arts Centre. With the
theme of this year’s Festival in mind, individuals will explore:

Their own personal values;
- How to visually communicate these concepts
with colour, shape and texture; and
- How to combine their individual
creations with the group to create one piece of art.
The focus will
be on well-being and collaboration in a safe and positive creative
environment. The final piece will be visually inviting, encouraging
viewers to move in and around the piece while capturing a selfie or two.
